The pandemic greatly changed how people lived across the globe. The years 2020 and 2021 brought economic and social struggles. Many companies had to change how they worked.
How did Syphax respond? We knew the economic and health situation affected many coffee growers. Syphax gave our coffee growers biosafety kits. These kits helped protect them and their families. They also ensured our products stayed healthy.
The kits had masks, alcohol, and disinfectant. We gave them to coffee grower groups in the Taylors project. These groups included Asprotimaná, Asprounión, and Fedar. We also gave kits to coffee growers in the Folgers project. That project takes place at the Terra Nova farm.
It’s important to build strong support networks during uncertain times. These networks help us care for each other. They strengthen work and business in Colombia. Syphax will keep working to support Colombian coffee culture.
